The Healthcare Consultant Manager will lead healthcare transformation initiatives and mission-focused programs supporting federal healthcare clients. This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, program design, and performance evaluation to improve healthcare delivery and operational effectiveness. You will collaborate with clinical and non-clinical professionals, government stakeholders, and senior executives to develop practical, evidence-based solutions. From launching new programs and designing pilot interventions to evaluating outcomes, you will oversee initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle. The position also involves managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and client relationships in a structured consulting environment. Accountabilities: - Lead end-to-end project management for Veteran-focused healthcare programs, ensuring activities align with client objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. - Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical staff, program coordinators, and senior executives, to design and implement effective healthcare interventions. - Conduct current-state assessments, develop stakeholder and patient journey maps, and define future-state recommendations that support healthcare transformation. - Perform primary and secondary research to evaluate industry trends, identify leading clinical practices, and develop evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the creation of key program deliverables, including business cases, change management and communication plans, operational manuals, and evaluation strategies. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control plans, and operational workflows to improve consistency, efficiency, and service quality. - Establish performance measurement frameworks and support data-driven decision-making through relevant metrics, reporting, and outcome evaluation. - Monitor project performance, including response rates, data quality, operational effectiveness, and progress against objectives, implementing corrective actions where needed. - Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address implementation challenges to support successful delivery. - Manage project teams, employees, and subcontractors, promoting accountability, collaboration, professional development, and effective onboarding. - Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with federal contract requirements and reporting standards. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for follow-on work and expanded services, and collaborate with leadership on business development and proposal activities. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with at least 11 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with the required relevant professional experience.
